Redax Story:
Red says:
Redax Shed, how, what and where, well, name is a combination of Red and Maxene, naturally.
My story, met Max 25 years ago after I was already riding Laverda's, owning a 79 Jota at that stage.
Now, still own my 79, plus quite a few other Laverda's and Max has an 83 Monty.
What do we do, well I drill for Oil worldwide and Max rides her Monty while I am away.
When I am home, we both fix Laverda's, we both modify Laverda's, we both build Laverda's, we both ride Laverda's, really, they are our main hobby.
We only own Laverda's, never had another brand since I bought the 79 which was preceded by a SF2 that I bought in 76.
How do we do it, well we are fortunate enough to have been able to put together our own engineering shop in our backyard.
Luckily I am a qualified Fitter and Turner and Max is my best apprentice, plus we are fortunate enough to have Mr Muir come and help us whenever he is needed and even sometimes when he is not needed.
Sometimes he just drops in for a beer or three which is our design time.
Top times are had by all who visit our workshop.
Our goal is to retire one day so we can work on Laverda's as a full time job.
Are we crazy, possibly, define crazy if you can, we regard it as a blessing to be able to do what we do.
So read our reports and let us know what you think.
Only thing holding us back from building the ultimate Laverda is time and imagination.
Ride safe, stay upright and avoid Volvo's.
